e-meet è un neologismo standard nelle email — usalo quando scrivi a qualcuno per la prima volta senza esservi mai visti di persona.

Chiedere aiuto / favori

- I could use a second pair of eyes.Mi servirebbe un secondo paio di occhi.
Formal vs informal
- Formal: I would like to request… → Informal: Could I get…Quasi sempre vai sul casual: "Could I get a copy of that report?"
- Formal: Please find attached… → Informal: Attaching the doc here."Please find attached" è sempre più raro. "Attaching X" o "Doc attached" basta.
- Formal: I am writing to inquire… → Informal: Quick question:"Quick question:" è il modo standard di aprire una email diretta.
In azienda quasi tutto è informale ma rispettoso. "Hi" + nome è sempre meglio di "Dear Sir/Madam" salvo email a clienti o legali.
